Reginald "Reg" Arwell was the husband of Madge Arwell and the father of Lily and Cyril Arwell. He was an RAF bomber pilot during the the Second World War and was presumed lost over the English Channel on 20 December 1941. In reality, while his wife was flying an escape pod through the Time Vortex, she inadvertently pulled his plane in as well and pulled it to safety at the house where she and their children were staying at on Christmas Day.
