Mrs Hardaker was the evacuees guardian Phillis and Jean. The girls wanted to see Ace at Maiden's Point but she said know they went anyway. First they survived, but secondly they where turned into viscous Haemovores and killed Mrs Hardaker. The Doctor and Ace later found her body in the living room with the radio on rotting instantly.
