Yes I belive so. The idea had been used before in the spin off novels but the Time War mentioned in the currant series was his idea. (I seem to remember there was a planned story which would feature the destruction of Gallifrey for the old series but it was replaced with the Trial of a Time Lord arc. | |||

RTD and Gallifrey

Yes I belive so. The idea had been used before in the spin off novels but the Time War mentioned in the currant series was his idea. (I seem to remember there was a planned story which would feature the destruction of Gallifrey for the old series but it was replaced with the Trial of a Time Lord arc.
