Miss Hardaker was the guardian of Phyllis and Jean after they had been evacuated to Maiden's Bay. She refused to give the girls permission to see Ace at Maiden's Point, but they went anyway. They killed Miss Hardaker when they were turned into vampires. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
