The Felman Lux Corporation was founded by Felman Lux, likely in the 50th century. At least one part of its corporate mission was the creation and maintenance of the Library. Under the leadership of Strackman Lux, it funded an archaeological expedition to the Library to investigate the cause of the disappearance of several thousand people who disappeared on the world while Felman Lux was still alive. (DW: Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead)

It is unknown what other business the Corporation conducted. However, it seems unlikely that the Corporation could have built an entire planet and artificial moon based solely on the profits of a library.
