History
24 December 1869 - The Unquiet Dead
September 2006 - Boom Town
The TARDIS lands in Cardiff Bay to use the wound of the Time rift, from events during The Unquiet Dead, to refuel. After The Doctor, Rose and Jack meet up with Mickey, the group discover that Margaret Blaine has survived the destruction of 10 downing street in World War Three and is now Lord Mayor of Cardiff. After the group catch her outside city hall, Margaret admits to the doctor that she plans to demolish Cardiff Castle and build the Blaidd Drwg (English: Bad Wolf) nuclear power station. Using a combination of a nuclear explosion and the time rift, she would use a tribophysical waveform macrokinetic extrapolator as a pan-dimensional surfboard to escape the solar system after Earth's destruction.
