The sonic lipstick was a device employed by Sarah Jane Smith sometime after she stopped regularly traveling with the Doctor. It has all the powers of the Doctor's sonic screwdriver, however it appears in the form of a lipstick, enabling it to blend in with the rest of Sarah Jane's things.
