Hornet was an insect species that resembled the hornets of Earth. They came to Earth to invade. In their plan they possessed stuffed animals and the Director of a factory (Percy Noggins). Thinking the Doctor would be a good host, but the Doctor managed to evade this by escorting them to his home ('The Nest'). (Hornets' Nest 1: The Stuff of Nightmares)
