Primordial soup

Primordial soup was a substance that composed largely of sugars and amino acids. The Seventh Doctor referred to it as "the most precious substance in the universe, from which all life springs."

When Light awoke in 1883, he turned Inspector Mackenzie into primordial soup and served it to Josiah Samuel Smith and his company, though none of them ate it. (DW: Ghost Light)
