With their vehicles destroyed the aliens panic. They mention that the contest cannot continue and activate a trilexic teleport beam to leave the scene of an aborted robbery, leaving the money behind, they all disappear. Following the beam the Doctor and Martha head off to follow and find out more about this ‘contest’.
