Mary not Marie[[edit source]]
The ship's name was Mary Celeste not Marie Celeste, both in real life and in "The Chase". I'm moving the article to reflect this. -- solar penguin/(talk)/(contribs) 07:36, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmmm, problem is that it's spelled Marie Celeste in Timechase.

So it's really misleading for this article to speculate that, because a certain story spells it "Marie", it might be talking about a different ship. No, authorial intent is that any time you see "Marie Celeste" it means "Mary Celeste'.
