The term "Gallifreyan" is often used interchangeably with "Time Lord," despite indications that not all Gallifreyans are members of that august society, and the fact that Gallifrey and Gallifreyans existed for eons before the time of Rassilon. Externally, Gallifreyans are identical to humans. They presumably have all of the same biological traits as the Time Lords, such as two hearts, the power of regeneration and respiratory bypass system.
