The Chromosome Connection is a Doctor Who Adventures comic story featuring the Tenth Doctor.

It introduces a new companion, Heather McCrimmon, being the first, and to date, only companion created by Doctor Who Adventures.

Summary

Heather McCrimmon, a 19-year old student in Edinburgh, goes ghost hunting. But she comes face to face with the apperation of her ansestors, and meets a man called the Doctor. But why is the alien Mozhatta attempting to murder Heather's family in the 19th century?... the Doctor is determind to find out that very question.

Notes

  • The DWA comic strip adventures were aimed at a younger audience and the artwork and colours were bold and bright, reflecting the tone of the magazine.
  • Self contained, one part stories were the norm in the early issues, later being expanded to two-parters.
