This Detective Inspector was in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department at the police station where the First Doctor landed his TARDIS on Christmas Day, circa 1965. When the Doctor exited the TARDIS, Second Policeman arrested him and brought him inside of the station, whereupon the Station Sergeant sent him back to CID to meet with the Detective Inspector. Steven Taylor, wearing a stolen police tunic, convinced the Detective Inspector that the Doctor was a harmless nutter with whom G Division was familiar.
