Richard Wilson (born 7 July 1936) played Dr. Constantine in the Doctor Who stories The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances.
Wilson is best known for his role as the always cranky Victor Meldrew in the show One Foot in the Grave. Currently he plays Gaius in the BBC fantasy series Merlin, which debuted in 2008 in the UK and 2009 in the US.
