Lord's Cricket Ground is the name of a cricket stadium in London, England. The Doctor once materialized his TARDIS here[source needed] by accident. (DW: The Daleks' Master Plan)
Trivia
Arthur Dent, the main character in the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, once materiallized in the same arena on a velvet Chesterfield sofa. Although there are many references to the Guide in the Doctor Who series, this is more likely to be a reference to Doctor Who in the Guide. The Guide would not be written for some time after the episode where the First Doctor suddenly landed in Lord's in The Daleks' Master Plan.
