:Personally i don't approve of galleries as they are very messy so deffinatly not on each of the tv serial (and later episode) pages but i don't see why not do it on the main cast section of each season or create a gallery for each season having main cast up the top and then actors for individual series down the bottom. Hi Dark Lord, I'm not sure I understand your dislike of galleries. Messy?! Is that all galleries? or have you specific examples in mind. I tend to use galleries quite a bit in various sections I've done (mainly books, comics/magazines and comic strips) I can't think of more boring examples than text laden pages on such visual material! I appreciate that the infobox image at the top should be the main image (in the vast majority of pages) and that images should be pertinant to the text, but I see nothing wrong with cover galleries for        example, as they are often a main point of reference. With regards to the cast bit don't you think that there is some merit in the "Oh, I recognise them, its him/her from that programme we like ...IN DR WHO!!"? where sometimes the name means nothing when presented in simply a list? Hi, had an idea and wanted to know what others thought! I know it would require a fair bit of on-site research for existing images, and a great deal of time implementing this suggestion, but ... do people think that the TV pages would be enhanced by having main cast listings structured as a gallery featuring an 'appropriate' facial shot of the character - with character name shown above the actors name? For example

Cast

So what do people think? I'm prepared to do some of the work (one story fully at a time so as not to create glaring gaps in the page) hopefully this would draw people to follow links to particular characters and more importantly to the actors, that they may be encouraged to edit rather than simply find a reference to external sites and actor info.
