Jayne Kadett was a female Human from 21st centuryEarth. She met the Doctor on a beach just before they were kidnapped by Cybermen who had been resurrected by a scientist who had found the Torchwood files on Cyber-conversion. After assisting the Doctor in defeating them, he offered her a chance to travel with him, but she turned it down.
