Jean-Pierre once helped the First Doctor in 18th century France.
Biography
Jean-Pierre revived the unconscious Doctor near a "safe house" used by counter-revolutionaries Rouvray and D'Argenson. Apparently ignored by French soldiers loyal to Maximilien Robespierre, the Doctor awoke to discover that Jean-Pierre had witnessed what had happened while the Doctor was asleep. Jean-Pierre told the Doctor where Susan, Ian and Barbara had been taken by the French. The Doctor thanked him and set off on foot for Paris. (TV: The Reign of Terror)
