The Tenth Doctor's lei in the snow (TV: The End of Time)

A lei was a garland of flowers worn about the neck. The Tenth Doctor wore a lei to the Ood Sphere when he finally arrived there after having been summoned by Ood Sigma. (TV: The End of Time)

Though associated with tropical Earth and vacations, other planets were known to make leis. The Loomish of the jungle world Lumana also made what appeared to be leis. Once, they stacked great mounds of them in front of the entrance to the TARDIS, forcing the Doctor and Martha Jones to push their way through the mountain of vegetation. (COMIC: House Pests)
