Rose has been released on several home media formats since its first broadcast in March 2005.
Home video releases
DVD
Rose was first released on a DVD along with The End of the World and The Unquiet Dead as Doctor Who - Series 1: Volume 1. It was later released as part of the series 1 DVD box set, Doctor Who - The Complete First Series.
Rose was also released with Issue 1 of the Doctor Who DVD Files.

Rose was also released on Series 1: Volume 1 in the UMD format for Playstation Portable.
Online distribution
iPlayer
iPlayer was not released at the time of the original airing of Rose, but re-airings of this episode since the release of iPlayer in December 2007 have been made available.
