Prop Delete

Rationale

See Talk:Skirmish at Tranquil Repose. This is flatly absurd. This kind of article needs to be rooted out of this wiki. Except in very rare cases articles should not be created for events or things that have no names. Battles in particular do not deserve their own names/pages unless the name is given in a primary source.

For Deletion

  • CzechOut | 06:24, 29 July 2008 (UTC), per arguments at cited Talk Page.
  • Tangerineduel 06:42, 29 July 2008 (UTC) I agree with the rationale, unless it's specifically names as such we shouldn't be attributing names to things like this, it's really a case of mountains out of molehills. (Though I will note that this a nicely padded article, when it comes down to it is about a sentence about the actual encounter)

Against Deletion

  1. Skittles the hog - This unlike some pages is an actual battle and so deserves a page.
  2. Steed 15:52, 1 August 2008 (UTC) Thank you Tangerineduel. The article is nicely padded because I improved it. I can improve Skirmish at Tranquil Repose as well.
