The Children of Time are moving against us.Davros. [Journey's End [src]]

The Children of Time is the name given by the Daleks to the group of people, consisting mostly of the Doctor's companions, that opposed their plan to destroy all of reality in The Stolen Earth and Journey's End. Davros uses the name to describe only the Doctor's companions, the distinction apparently defined as any of the Doctor's friends who has traveled in the TARDIS at least once. The term may also include the members of Sarah Jane's team and Torchwood Three, who also appeared in the episodes, as well as the Doctor himself and others who allied with him.

Members

When referring to the Doctor's Companions, the Children of Time consist of:

The above individuals all appeared in the current series, acted as the Doctor's assistant, and traveled in the TARDIS at least once. This group also participated directly in the confrontation aboard the Dalek Crucible. Davros also refers to this group as 'The Doctor's Children' when they threaten to destroy both Earth and the Crucible in an effort to rescue the Doctor.

A more inclusive definition of the term would include the members of Sarah Jane Smith's team and Torchwood Three who supported the effort from Earth. None of these individuals ever traveled in the TARDIS, and as such may not be considered "Children of Time" in the strictest sense, having never traveled through the time stream.

Harriet Jones refers to the above individuals as "The Doctor's Secret Army", possibly distinguishing it from "The Children of Time".

The broadest definition of the term would include anyone who opposed the Daleks during the battle. This would include the Doctor, his cloned self, Dalek Caan, and the members of UNIT.
