:::I'd like to point out that "Headless Monk" and "Order of the Headless [Monks]" are two different things. The former refers to an individual, while the latter refers to the group. Therefore, even if the "Order" approach is preferred for this page, it's still appropriate to have a Headless Monk page, in the same way that it is appropriate to have pages for both [[Silent]] and [[The Silence]]. Mentions?
Can someone explain to me why the mention of the Headless Monks in Time of Angels has been removed? The user that originally removed the mention explicitly claimed they did not recall the mention as justification for removing it. After it being pointed out, they've then claimed that mentions aren't allowed. But as far as I can tell there are plenty of pages on this wiki with lists of mentions in the box (Dalek jumps out at me for instance). Am I missing some of this wiki's policy? - I have my own wiki to run, so I generally don't get overly caught up in others; but this seems a little bit of a weird procedure to me. Mentions are allowed. User:Bold Clone reverted the mention as he didn't recall it, and then again as there isn't actually a mentioned section in the infobox. The mention is still, well, mentioned in the article body.----Skittles the hog--Talk 19:09, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
I think the mention in Time and Angels needs to be put up TheTrueDoc talk to me 17:35, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
I don't quite understand why the reference in the angels episode was not posted. The doctor says something like this is the final resting place of the headless monks. He does so while investigating the 'museum' with Amelia Pond.
Name
"Headless Monk" is by far the most common reference, so we should move the page to that per T:NAMING. However, I wanted to see if anyone can give a precise (with time code) citation for "Order of the Headless", or whether there was some rationale for "Order of the Headless" over "Order of the Headless Monks".

- I don't have access to the DVD right now, but the phrase is used in the scene where the Fat One is to be "initiated". A voice says, "Welcome, applicant, to the order of the Headless." Shambala108 ☎ 03:38, April 8, 2013 (UTC)
