Executive Producer(s)...
Well, they announced yesterday ([1]) that Caroline Skinner was leaving and that Faith Penhale would be taking over as executive producer for "the Fiftieth Anniversary", and more importantly for this discussion: "The recruitment process for a new executive producer for the next series will start shortly" (emphasis added). I don't expect this is enough information to warrant re-creating the Series 8 page yet, but it's nice to see some sort of official confirmation - however small - that the Beeb are planning something for the show beyond the end of 2013!
