The idea of the Doctor being the villain for a season with his companions trying to bring him back to his normal self is a really interesting one. It would give lots of new ideas for writers to explore, and it would be interesting if they bring back some of the traditionally bad guys to play a good guy for a bit (a sort of role reversal) and aid the companions in "fixing" the Doctor. I'm thinking a return of the Master where he tries to help the Doctor return to his normal self, through twisted logic of missing having an enemy so equal to himself as well as some of the remains of past friendship and loyalty. Although I don't think the showrunners are actually planning on doing something like that, I would love to watch it! hi
just something that has come to my mind, well sort of poped in there. this is just a random idea that is to be honest a bit silly and i dont really think this might happen but might fuel speculation and other theroies.
obviously the doctor is going to regenerate. my 'idea' is (based on that moffat has said doctor who is goin to changee) that in the 50th aniversary we will see 'the fall of the 11th' meaning the doctor will 'die'
meaning he will literaly die and be confined to his time stream that we have already seen or he will become the valeyard/hurt doctor.......... this then makes 'the doctor' the anti-hero/enemy of the season.
but before his regeneration/death due to some 'moffaty timey whimmy' he brings river song back from either within his own timestream or from the library database( or maybe river from after angels but before library) the series story arc is river song and clara are trying to bring the doctor back...either from death or from his dark side.
like i say a bit random but its not beyond moffat and i am not convinced that river songs story is finished and this would possibly give her the opertunity to learn his true name to bring him back........87.83.10.218talk to me 14:46, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Moffat doesn't need to bring River Song back from the dead. I mean, the first time we encountered her in The Library, she died. Every time she has popped up in episodes since then has been earlier in her timestream. There is no reason why this couldn't continue. For all we know, she had meetups with the Twelfth Doctor, too. *Spoilers!* Badwolff ☎ 20:35, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
