Russell Tovey portrayed Titanic Midshipman, Alonzo Frame in Voyage of the Damned. In his book, The Writer's Tale, Russell T Davies suggests that he could imagine himself casting Tovey to play the 11th Doctor. But since Davies will be leaving his post as executive producer of Doctor Who, it is unlikely Tovey will get the job.
