{{Vrec/doc}} is a template that allows you to easily make a recommendation at T:VREC. It's super-easy to use. Just just follow this pattern: {{vrec|YouTube video number|Tardis page on which you think it should go|Name of the YouTube account on the video}}

Here's a practical example. Let's say the video you were trying to recommend had the url of:

http://www.youtube.com/watch%7C?v=e1lAHEaOg6w

You grab just the number after ?v=, or e1lAHEaOg6w. Then you plug it into the above format, thus:

{{vrec|e1lAHEaOg6w|The Name of the Doctor (TV story)|BBCAmericaTV}}

which results in


Please make sure you specify all three variables. If you don't, the template will loudly alert you to the fact you've forgotten to enter things, like so:

  • A video good for a page which the nominating user didn't specify (please go back and tell us which page you think needs this video) provided by a YouTube account which the nominating user didn't specify (if you do not specify the account, your recommendation will not be considered at all)


Admin cannot proceed with incomplete recommendations.
