Ida Scott was part of the crew on Krop Tor researching the black hole known as K37 Gem 5. She was part of the Walker Expedition researching the previous civilization which enabled the planet to orbit a blackhole, she also accompanied the Doctor down into the pit within the planet. She was rendered unconscious by the destabilisation of the planet as it began to enter the event horizon of the black hole, she was however rescued by the Doctor. (DW: The Satan Pit)
