Greyfrith was an English village in the Pennines, of which Deborah Castle was a resident. The little town was a centre for county cricket play, and pictures on display at the local train station proudly gave witness to the fact that snow had once stopped a match — something that had never occurred in any county cricket season, anywhere in the world.
