Into the Silent Land was the sixth short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: Farewells. Written by Steven A. Roman, the story featured the Fourth Doctor and Romana II.
Summary
The Doctor begins dreaming about a beautiful garden that contains many memories from his past. Feeling his age, The Doctor decides to take his mind off his troubles by attending the funeral of his old friend, Hannah Gites. However, the Doctor discovers he can never escape trouble... and fears death is approaching, leaving Romana concerned for his state of mind.
