It has been announced that ''Wizards vs Aliens'', a CBBC series co-created by [[Russell T Davies]] and [[Phil Ford]] that aired its first season in 2012, will reportedly include a rewritten version of ''The Thirteenth Floor'', likely in its second season scheduled to air in 2013. The Thirteenth Floor was to have been the fifth story of series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. However, due to the death of Elisabeth Sladen in April 2011, only half of the series was filmed, resulting in The Man Who Never Was being the final story of the series. (DWMSE 32)

Phil Ford rewrote this story as a two-parter for series 2 of Wizards vs Aliens. It aired on the CBBC channel in November 2013.
