Amy Pond wore a pair of reading glasses (prescribed to her in TV: The Power of Three) after she decided to resume travelling with the Eleventh Doctor. While Amy was relaxing with him in Central Park, the Doctor used her glasses to read, saying he could see better with them. This makes them an unusual pair of the Doctor's glasses as these are the only ones (Other than possibly the First Doctor's) actually stated to improve his eyesight, rather than being used for mere cosmetic reasons (Like both the The Fifth Doctor's and The Tenth Doctor's as revealed in Time Crash. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan) The Doctor kept the reading glasses after Amy was touched by a Weeping Angel, using them well into his travels with Clara Oswald. (TV: The Angels Take Manhattan, The Snowmen, The Rings of Akhaten, The Day of the Doctor)
