Bliss was an addictive mood drug sold on the planet New Earth. Infected with an airbourne virus, it killed its users. Prior to 5,000,000,053, it caused the majority of the Human (or Near-Human) population of New Earth to die within seconds, save the inhabitants of the undercity of New New York and in the Motorway to survive.
