Timanov was the religious leader of the planet Sarn, the inhabitants of which were descended from a colony of Trions exiled there. Having forgotten their origins, many of the Trions there believed unquestionably in Timanov.
Profile
Timanov mainly concerned himself with the dissident Unbelievers, who doubted his word. He had a devout belief in the god Logar. The shapechanging Kamelion, taken over by and now resembling the Master, manipulated the prophecy's to his advantage in order to gain control of Timanov, and, through him, the colonists. With his faith tested, Timanov eventually chose to die on Sarn and face the volcanoes rather than go back on his faith in Logar. (DW: Planet of Fire)
