The Dalek Annuals were released in the early 1960s (though not with "Annual" in the title) from Souvenir Press Ltd and in the 1970s from World Distributors, which also published the Doctor Who Annuals at that time.

Overview

Because the copyright to use the Daleks belonged to Terry Nation, who was at the time looking to launch the Daleks in their own series of adventures in the US. Some earlier Dalek Annual-type books were published in the 1960s (from 1964 to 1966, the last one featuring the Doctor's companion, Space Security Service agent Sara Kingdom. (As she had died in her debut story, The Daleks' Master Plan, these stories presumably took place before she met the Doctor.) As well as an unrelated SF comic strip reprint.) These three 1960s Dalek "Annuals" were published by Souvenir Press Ltd, and are shown in the "Related and Other Annuals" cover images section below.
