Of course he does. He always does. Doesn't seem to ever discourage me, though. And even if this connection really was an actual thought in Moffat's mind, he pretty clearly hasn't overcommitted to it. But between the psychopath comments, TARDIS flying, sexual overtones, opposition to aging, and the comment about screaming his 'name'... Well, there's plenty of room on the dance floor if some future writer wants to make something of it. Although there were about a dozen similarities and conspicuous references made that link Tasha Lem to River Song (list them here at you leisure); and each of them was enough for its own speculation thread; I'm only here for one of them:
