The Cornucopia Caper was a Doctor Who Magazine comic story featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams. Notably, it introduced Miss Ghost, a mysterious women from the Doctor's past, Horatio Lynk, a jewel thief, and the crime-state city of Cornucopia, who would all make a re-appearance in the 50th anniversary comic special, Hunters of the Burning Stone.

Summary

The Doctor, Amy, and Rory arrive in the city of Cornucopia on an unnamed planet. Cornucopia is a hive for crime where law enforcers are illegal. The Doctor and Rory are taken hostage by a gang of criminals, led by Granny Solasta. Solasta is leading an operation to raid the Bank of Heaven, every criminal's dream job, and with Rory's life at ransom, The Doctor is forced to transport them in the TARDIS. but the lust of crime soon begins to have an effect on him, whilst back in the city, Amy forms an alliance with Horatio Lynk, a professional thief.

  • Miss Ghost makes it clear that she is someone from the Doctor's past, and before vanishing, she says that she will see the Doctor again quite soon, starting a new story arc in the DWM comic stories.
