A Dimension Vault was a technology of Dalek design.

They appeared to have the lower part of a Dalek battle casing with the top part being open with a single spear shaped device present. The Vault was capable of transporting people from one world to another.

The Cybermen stole a Dalek dimension vault in the Void and used it as a means to return to Earth but were catapulted backwards in time. The Doctor offered to use it to relocate the Cybermen to another planet where they could live their mechanical lives in peace, before using the device to send them into the Time Vortex, where they would be disintergrated.
