The command ship belonging to Davros was destroyed in the first year of the Last Great Time War when it flew into the jaws of the Nightmare Child. The Doctor, then in his eighth incarnation (TV: The Night of the Doctor), tried to save Davros, but was unable to do so.
However, Dalek Caan, a survivor of the Time War, underwent a temporal shift and managed to break the time-lock and save Davros. (TV: The Stolen Earth)
