Doland and Bruchner were Professor Lasky's assistants.
In 2986, Doland and Bruchner helped Lasky create the Vervoids. He planned to sell them as slave labour, and while on the Hyperion III he murdered Edwardes, Hallett, Atza and Ortezo. He was exposed by the Sixth Doctor and killed by the Vervoids. (TV: Terror of the Vervoids)
