:::It's [[real world creep]] to start applying real world Latin conventions to a script that doesn't have them.  In the script she's ''just'' Evelina, so [[T:NO RW]] says that's her name. Name

Was she actually called "Evelina Caecilius Iucundus" in the episode? Because that name makes no sense in Roman naming conventions, it should just be "Evelina Caecilia".

Would that be the same for Metella Caecilius Iucundus as well? Do we need to drop the 'Iucundus' from all but Luicius? --Tangerineduel 16:28, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
For Metella it would be Caecilia Metella since she married into the family, but yes, just Lucius and Quintus should have the Iucundus bit. Kuralyov 19:31, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
It's real world creep to start applying real world Latin conventions to a script that doesn't have them. In the script she's just Evelina, so T:NO RW says that's her name. At least until another "Evelina" is found, in which case she becomes Evelina (The Fires of Pompeii).
