Georges Guynemer was a French-speaking First World War fighter pilot who, while attempting to escape German planes above Blegium, fell through a space-time rift and found himself on the planet Clahow. Around the same time a Rezyar robot warship also appeared in the sky and Georges joined the native bird-forms defending their planet. When the warship was lured towards the space-time rift and trapped in the void with the Eleventh Doctor's help, Georges decided to stay on Clahow with his new friends. (COMIC: Missing in Action)
