- 2006: The Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, and Mickey Smith stop an invasion of Earth by the Sycorax during the events of The Christmas Invasion.
- 2008: A spacegoing replica of the RMS Titanic, also called the Titanic, narrowly avoids a planned collision with Buckingham Palace thanks to the timely intervention of the Doctor. (DW:Voyage of the Damned) Had it hit, London would have been destroyed in a nuclear blast. (DW:Turn Left)
