Colm Furnish was a journalist who worked for the Examiner around 2009. That year, Furnish attended one of Martin Trueman's astrology shows at the East Acton New Theatre. On a large-display advertisement for Trueman's later performances, Furnish was quoted as calling the show "a shining light amidst a sea of scepticism." (TV: Secrets of the Stars)
