I took out an uncalled for and completely unsourced bit of POV weasel wording regarding Piper's accent in Turn Left. The fact critics and fans noticed the lisp hsa been covered (wouldn't hurt to include a source, though the episode itself can be used as a source), but the statement that she sounded like a "chav" not only crosses the line potentially with whatever the Wikia equivalent of Wikipedia's BLP policy is, but it's an utterly meaningless term to anyone outside England. ROFL! "The episode, judging by the title, will probably feature some dead guys on a planet." That's rich. I don't have the heart to correct it.RaquelApplegate 10:04, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Update
I've cleaned up, linked, and categorized this story. And created a new category in the process, too. --Golden Monkey 22:16, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Companions
Why are there two ramdom charecters down as companions?
In the commentary RTD only says that they appear he never says that they are companions.
- Haven't heard it myself, but I'll remove then just now Jack's the man - 23:43, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Rumours
Before The Next Doctor was broadcasted, a rumour link was sent up on the article pages and a message was inserted that you could only add rumour if there was proof could an admin do that to this page, it would help to root some really stupid rumours. Bigshowbower 05:03, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's always necessary to have a source for rumours, as this could include widespread fan-forum rumours which are difficult to cite. However I do think some common sense has to come into play. For example I just deleted a rather spurious rumour -- one I've yet to see anywhere else -- suggesting that simply because it's a modern day story, the Brigadier and even Benton or Yates could appear. That could be said of any modern-day Who story; absolutely nothing notable. The only companion to have been rumored is Martha and only because a tabloid reported she may appear in one of the specials. Personally I think she'll be involved in the lead-up to regeneration, not get burned off on an early special where clearly the focus will be on Michelle Ryan's character, anyway (especially if the related rumour that she's companion-in-waiting for Matt Smith bears fruit). 23skidoo 19:52, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Synopsis and Enemy
Where did the information for the Synopsis and the enemy come from, it sounds suspect so I'm going to remove it
Dubai controversy
Right now mentioning the Dubai filming controversy in "Story Notes" is probably good enough, but we should be prepared to make it its own section -- perhaps even its own article -- if the brouhaha gets big. We should make sure, though, that if anyone adds quotes, etc. connected to this topic that they be accompanied by sources - no generic "RTD said last week..." type comments. 23skidoo 16:13, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Species/Enemy
Where are the sources for all 3 enemies - Zarbi, Nimons and Tritovores ?? And why are they in the main enemy box list ? Until I see a source I'm deleting them. Michael Downey
- Nothing's been announced officially, although the Tritovore name has been mentioned I believe by RTD; a source related to this would be authoritative. The others are still rumors.
Billie Piper's accent
I took out an uncalled for and completely unsourced bit of POV weasel wording regarding Piper's accent in Turn Left. The fact critics and fans noticed the lisp hsa been covered (wouldn't hurt to include a source, though the episode itself can be used as a source), but the statement that she sounded like a "chav" not only crosses the line potentially with whatever the Wikia equivalent of Wikipedia's BLP policy is, but it's an utterly meaningless term to anyone outside England. 23skidoo 19:59, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
