The Demons were a type of advanced Roboman developed by the Daleks.

Three Demons were known to exist and only two had completed their conditioning. Originally, the Demons were human criminals who were brought to the Pkowik system station. A positronic disc was implanted and the subjects underwent various genetic experiments. Augmented with cellular invisibility, a degree of shape-shifting, and a psychic mind-trick to make them seem trustworthy to just about anyone, the Demons were designed to serve as agents of the Daleks. They would also imprint on the first face they looked upon— much like ducklings —making them unswerving in their loyalty.

Galanar, Amur, and Morli were Demons. Since the Enemy Daleks attacked the station, the Demons never did imprint on their creators, and Morli was activated before her conditioning was complete. Galanar imprinted on Giorgi Selestru and worked as an agent of the Galactic Union, while Amur imprinted on the Enemy Daleks, serving them. (BFDE: The Demons, The Warriors)
