The Battle of Reykjavik was fought in Iceland in the early 51st century at the outset of World War VI. The Filipino Army advanced on Reykjavik and overthrew the Supreme Alliance of Eastern States. The Alliance's Minister of Justice, Magnus Greel, fled to 19th century China using an experimental time cabinet created by Dr Sa Yy Findecker. (TV: The Talons of Weng-Chiang)

One of the first four incarnations of the Doctor marched with the Filipino Army during the battle. He was able to bring the brief Sixth World War to a close using information provided by his fifth incarnation. (AUDIO: The Butcher of Brisbane)
