Michelle Gomez (born 21 April 1971) is a Scottish actress. She is best known in Doctor Who for playing Missy in series 8, a character who was later revealed to be a female incarnation of the Master. She is the first actress to portray the Master in any media.
She also voiced Jevvan in the Big Finish audio story Valhalla.
