Megropolis One was the oldest of six megropolises on Pluto, built by the Company to house humans after the Earth and Mars got depleted. In the city it was always day as it was lighted by one of the planets artificial Suns. It had 50 million inhabitants.
It was administered by Gatherer Hade, but also contained the palace of the Collector, the company's senior representative on the planet. Other features of the city were it's foundry and the smelting industries in district four, the planet's detention center (located directly under the palace), and a large undercity in which fugitives from the ruthless administrative roamed.
